For Adobe Reader (.pdf) Files: Click on link; if you have adobe reader it will start downloading and displaying the file.  This can be slow.  To simply download the .pdf file, place the cursor over the link and press the mouse button on the right (right click).  A menu window will open.  Click on "Save target as..."  A window will open permitting you to save the file, and allowing you to select a file name and location on your machine.  Make changes as necessary and click "Save."  The download will begin.  When the download is complete, you should be able to view the downloaded file in Adobe Reader.
